Overview

The Inside Sales Representative is a proactive, results-oriented B2B sales professional responsible for prospecting, qualifying, and engaging travel agencies, TMCs, consortia, and corporate buyers to expand Mondee's marketplace. The role involves lead qualification, prospect engagement, pipeline management, and revenue generation through structured inside sales processes and feeds qualified opportunities to field Sales Managers and Regional Sales Managers.

Role and Responsibilities

  • Identify, qualify, and engage inbound and outbound B2B leads
  • Conduct discovery calls to understand customer needs and business challenges
  • Build and manage a healthy sales pipeline to meet revenue targets
  • Present and position company products/services through virtual meetings and demos
  • Convert marketing leads (MQLs) into sales-qualified opportunities (SQLs)
  • Collaborate with marketing, pre-sales, and field sales teams for deal closure
  • Handle escalation, follow-ups, and negotiations within defined authority levels.
  • Maintain accurate sales data and activity tracking in CRM systems
  • Prepare sales reports, forecasts, and pipeline updates

Desired Skills

  • 3-5 years of experience in Inside Sales / B2B Sales / Corporate Sales
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Engineering, or related field
  • Exposure to domestic and/or international markets
  • Strong communication, presentation, and negotiation skills
  • Experience working with CRM tools (Salesforce, HubSpot, Zoho, MS Dynamics, etc.)
  • Ability to engage decision-makers and senior stakeholders
  • Target-driven mindset with strong follow-up and time-management skills
  • Understanding of sales funnels, lead qualification, and opportunity management
